Shabby Chic Furniture

Hello ,my name is Alysha and my husband and I own and run our shabby and chic furniture store. I have always had a passion for romantic, victorian, antique, cottage and doll house style furniture. On my spare time I enjoy sitting in one of the cozy areas of my home that is adorned with pillows, a blanket and a side table for my coffee and stack of books and magazines. I wish I could spend hours and hours at a time pondering over new ideas and ways to improve my home and store but I am also a blessed, full time, mother and teacher of 4 small children all under the age of 8.

Both my husband and I have home based businesses. We also home school our children and my #1 priority is raising my children to be independent and God fearing adults. I enjoy teaching them how to start and manage a business. I also enjoy teaching the dedication and consistent work that is involved in running your home and business under the same roof. We both run and manage our businesses on line as well so juggling schedules and work is an every day act.

Finding and purchasing Shabby Chic Furniture is an absolute passion of mine that I get to reflect my creativity with. All of the furniture that I buy for my online store as well as my home has got to have elegance and natural beauty. It is all very old with history and original with genuine shabby but very chic details in appliques and the appearance. Each piece is unique and stunning. I love a variety of different looks but they all end up coming together because of the similar romantic look and feel. Because my online boutique is run out of my home, family living space becomes a business and show room floor sometimes at the drop of a hat. We need to be able to pull together in a short time and work as a team to get the house cleaned up and organized in a short amount of time.
